Made with your family in mind

More than a name on the cover

The small details are what make a story feel like theirs. You help shape the book before it becomes a keepsake your family can return to.

  1. 01

Their world is part of the story

Add the little details they know and love—from a favourite animal to a family tradition—so the finished book feels made for them, not simply stamped with their name.

Frequently asked questions

What can I personalize?

You can choose the child's age, story theme, subject, message, language, illustration style, and font. Add their favourite things, family members, pets, or a Pinch of Magic to make the finished book feel unmistakably theirs.

Is it difficult to create a book?

Not at all. The guided builder takes you through one simple choice at a time, from the story theme to the details that make your child unique. You provide a few ideas; we turn them into the adventure.

Do I need to upload a photo?

No. Photos are optional, but we highly recommend them if you want the illustrated characters to feel more recognisable and personal. You can upload up to 3 clear reference photos of your child, family members, pets, or other important details.

What is A Pinch of Magic?

It is an optional extra detail that gives the story an even more personal spark. Tell us that your child loves lions, sings everywhere they go, or never sleeps without a favourite teddy, and we can weave it into their adventure.

Can I review the book before it is finished?

Yes. You can review and edit the story, then approve the character artwork before the final illustrations are created. You stay in control while we do the creative heavy lifting.

Which languages and illustration styles can I choose?

Books can currently be created in English, Spanish, French, German, or Dutch, with regional variants where available. You can also choose from a growing collection of illustration styles and child-friendly fonts to give the book the look and feel you want.

Can I create a book as a gift?

Absolutely. A personalized book makes a thoughtful birthday, holiday, new-baby, or just-because gift. You can build it using the child's details and choose the hardcover option when the final book is ready.

What is Bedtime Club?

A fresh, personalized bedtime story sent straight to your inbox every day. No app, no images, and no nightly story planning—just open the email and enjoy a gentle read-aloud story designed to help your child settle down for sleep.

Is Bedtime Club the same as the keepsake book?

They are two different ways to enjoy personalized stories. The keepsake book is a one-time illustrated book to download or print. Bedtime Club is an ongoing subscription with a new, text-only bedtime story delivered by email each day.

How does the Bedtime Club trial work?

Core and Family both begin with 7 days free. After the trial, Core is $4.99/month and Family is $8.99/month. You can cancel during the free trial or anytime afterwards using the manage-subscription link in any story email.

What is the Family plan?

Family gives up to 4 children their own personalized story every day. Each story uses that child's name, age, and interests, so siblings do not have to share the same adventure.

Are the stories safe for kids?

Stories are created with children in mind. Bedtime Club focuses on calm, age-appropriate adventures with reassuring endings, while keepsake books let you choose the theme and message. You also review the book's words and character artwork before the final version is created.

How are my photos and personal details used?

We use the details and reference photos you provide only to personalize your child's stories and artwork. Photos are stored privately and are never displayed publicly or shared as example content without your permission.

Ready to make their story a keepsake?

Start with a guided book draft, then keep the magic going with Star Catcher Stories Bedtime Club when your family wants more.

Bedtime Club Family supports up to 4 children. Core starts at $4.99/mo after the free trial.
